Post What is Your PC configuration? Reply with quote
Hi, I was on a little Raiding quests on saturday with Dragons, but I managed to have some pretty lagg when raid started. So I'm interested in type of Your CPU and GPU to update my PC with optimal hardware.

Mine is Celeron 2.5GHz and GF6200

Intel Pentium M processor 1.80GHz. No idea what graphics card my laptop has. Very Happy Doesn't really struggle with anything that I do, but I currently don't raid. Alterac Valley runs just fine though, even when it's 40 vs 40.

Maybe stuff running in the background is causing you problems?

At least a 3.2 with 512 gamming graph card and 1gb - 1.5gb ram should be ok.
If you have too much money, get a dual cpu with 2gb ram and scsi drive Smile

Or:

You can have an imba graph card if the rest suck... Will not work:)

You'r lagg is not from videocard or cpu. It's internet connection. On 1Mbps i have 40-50ms in n00b's area and ~150ms in raids.

In MC a 6200 TC videocard is obsolete. ~10fps if you have at least 1gb ram. So, maybe a 6600GT is ok.
Try to lower aniso and anti-aliasing settings in your driver options and lower game settings as well.

If you want to play this game with all settings at maximum, you need a 3200+ cpu, 6800gt at least and 2gb of ram. A 7200rpm HDD is enough.

SCSI too expensive ... buy WD Raptor, cheaper and very fast drive.

My PC is an Athlon 2000+ with 1g of ram and a geforce4TI gfx card with 128 ram.

It is quite old.

Yet I manage to stay online when fighting Razorgore. Wink

Checked on PC health, that my CPU is overloading a lot... I seems that I have to upgrade that... Otherwise no raiding when I hit 60... Sad

OK that's straight from the game manual that comes with the game package, 100% Blizzard. There is a minimum configuration, which I skipped, and that is the recommended one. One would think if you have that the game would run normally. Well I don't have a spaceship like those who posted above but have TWICE as better PC as the "recommended" and the game goes like s**t.

Anyone got a good lawer?
