Windows Vista |

This seems to have been released today,I'm downloading it now - but need to wait for my new graphics card on Monday before I can install it.
Anyone have any experience yet playing wow under vista ?

Poor performance in games, and needs a lot of computer resources.

i set up dual boot when i tested vista, so it can be done. But as morph said, it needs a lot of resources, its pretty heavy on the gfx side.

just spoke to an old uni friend, no point getting vista just yet, no unless you have the new AM2 chipset from AMD.

Lillyth, AM2 is the socket, not the chipset. The chipset can be nf4, nf590 sli, nf570 sli and so on.
You can put vista on a p3 and will works.
The problem is, when you want to play wow on vista, you will need more resources. Ofc, if you have an amd x2, or an pentium e6800 with some nvidia 7900 and 2gigs of ram, maybe you will not notice a 30-40fps frame drop.
The problem is 'drivers', not optimization yet.
