But you have time to adjust:) Is not even announced the Cataclysm.
This new system can work, IF the encounters are v. nice balanced. Because otherwise if 25 man is harder than 10 man (keep in mind that in 10 man people are more tunned and focused and have the best combo usual), the people will stop raiding 25 man.
We will see...

If patch 4.0 will kill addons and stuff, I think your ICC suffering will end faster:p
But imagine new glyphs and talents and spells... yes will be interesting.

As far as I know, you are right, Generation. You have to choose if you want to go into 10man raid or 25man raid and then you can't go to the other.
The thing i don't know yet if you can swap to 10 or 25 man via normal dungeon system. Let's say, there is a raid with 5 bosses in it. It's said that if you do it in normal version, then you are not saved to the group but to the Boss. Which means if your party get disbanded after the first boss, you can still join to another normal raid who has also killed the first boss (or the second, third, etc).
My question is - can i also continue in a different size of raid?
Let's say you slay the first boss, but stuck on the second in a 10 man raid. Can I join then to a 25man raid, who is at the second (or third, or whichever after the first) boss?
I'm eagerly awaiting some answers

Yes you can join any raid size, as much time you are not saved to boss they did not kill in progression.
(which makes me think they will make things linear?)

In this case, this changes won't affect guild runs much.
This is hell of a halleluja for pug raids tough.

Giving the people a bit of freedom to skip or come just where they want to go, will affect the raiding and will make raiding worse... And imagine /2 spam.... "lfg 3rd boss+" each player...

pro's and cons
the intention is to not have a 10man and a 25man raid which 'needs' to be cleared every week. which is cool.
it's kind of crap they decided to test this with current content, since it's not rly build for that idea. we have seperate achievements, loot and goals, to restrict us to doing only 1. sucks.

I agree with Anarki totally. This content was built to have the opportunity to go 10 and 25 man in the same week, now they take the opportunity away. Sounds odd at least, if not unfair.
