sounds cool but i dont see it possible now, maybe for a small bunch of guys with fibrewire connections

I think 'high speed' refers to broadband like DSL from what i've seen of this elsewhere.

If I have this right, the servers do all the back end work, and they send graphics data and you send back control data.
In theory at least the upper limit would be how fast you could stream the graphics?
Any connection trouble would be deadly though...

In practice, well even WoW is not like Blizzard is presenting, has his lags and downtimes and so on.
Now, depends how much will cost this new "console", keep in mind the computing hw you buy just once, after a player quits paying/playing the hw remains and you can give for free to next player so is not so dramatic like people are presenting:)

i think it is a realy interesting consept.
only bad thing is alot of game stores will go out of bis.
but alot of game developers will get pay for the hard work for once.
